We contacted Feldjagers to come out and give us an estimate on doing some Fall yard maintenance, including lawn aeration, fertilization and weed control, side walk and patio trimming and maintenance, etc. Not only did feldjagers show up on time, but it was the owner himself who came out. He spent time going over my yard and discussing my weed issues and other concerns I had. I thought he was very knowledgable and had a good grasp on lawn care and maintenance. I felt he gave us a very fair estimate and we agreed to do the job. A couple days later Jim showed up and did the aeration, fertilization and weed control and other yard maintenance and clean up. We felt he was very professional and did a very good job with the lawn work and maintenance. Based upon his fair price and the fact he showed up when he said he would be there, as well as his professional performance in the way he handled the job, we will be seeing him again next Spring. Would we recommend Feldjagers? Absolutely without hesitation.

FeldjagersPest and Lawn was founded in 2010 by Jim Thiewes of Minneapolis. After 10 years working in the banking industry, Jim decided it was time to take hang up the head set and grab the fertilizer, pesticide, and traps, hit the road and help his new found customers face to face, doing what he loved most, and where he and his technicians would really make a difference. We’re excited about serving you and hopefully making you life long customers.
So, what is Feldjagers? Feldjagers is Prussian for Fieldhunters; Some what fitting for this business. Jim was looking for something fun and different from what other companies were using, something that stands out from the rest. Something you can’t pronounce! We certainly love the name. We hope you like it too!

Feldjagers Pest and Lawn provides many services within pest control and lawn care. Pest services in MN, for example, are geared towards turf and Ornamental care. Pest services in WI are geared towards Strutural pest control, due to each states state licensing. EventuallFeldjagers will be licensed for Structural Pest control in MN. This is projected for Summer 2013 or possibly sooner. Check out our About page for more on licensing.
